The IKF Korfball World Congress 2025 will bring together leaders and enthusiasts from across the globe. The Congress and General Meeting will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, on October 17th and 18th, 2025.
This year’s congress, with the theme “Korfball Together: Connecting, Growing, Inspiring”, is an in-person event. It offers attendees a chance to network and engage in dynamic discussions with the global korfball community.
The congress will be followed by the IKF General Meeting on the afternoon of Saturday 18th October.

Friday, 17 October 2025
- 09:00: Open Registration.
- 09:30 – 18:00: Congress Sessions, with breaks for coffee and lunch.
Saturday, 18 October 2025
- 09:00 – 13:30: Congress Sessions followed by the end of the Congress.
- 13:30: Lunch.
- 15:00 – 18:00: IKF General Meeting.
Social Programme: Better Together
In line with the theme Korfball Together: Connecting, Growing, Inspiring, we’ve prepared a series of social activities to strengthen unity within our global community. These informal moments encourage cooperation, connection, and shared experiences. Partners and families are warmly welcome to join, with activities starting on 16 October evening and concluding Sunday morning
Registration and Accommodation
The registration fee is €150 per person, including access to all sessions, meals (17–18 October), and venue–hotel transfers.
Recommended hotels: Ibis Hotel José Malhoa and Novotel Lisboa.
