China replied from a rebound, 1-1, but Hungary regained the lead and extended it with a long shot, 1-3. China closed the gap with a medium shot, 2-3, before Hungary restored their two-scores cushion, 2-4, to end the half.

China scored immediately after the restart, 3-4, but Hungary responded to make it 3-5 with four minutes remaining. A late Chinese two-pointer narrowed the margin, yet Hungary finished stronger to claim a 5-9 victory.
