15/8/2025 – Chinese Taipei opened the scoring in the first minute, but the USA replied to level at 1-1 with four minutes to play. A running-in shot put the USA ahead 1-2 before Chinese Taipei equalised from the penalty spot, 2-2, with a minute left. The teams traded goals, with the USA holding a narrow 3-4 lead at the break.

Early in the second half, Chinese Taipei tied it at 4-4. Playing three against four after a yellow card, Chinese Taipei survived a missed USA penalty and instead took the lead 5-4 with three minutes to go. They added another to go two goals ahead, 6-4, and closed out the game strongly to seal an 8-5 victory.
