Match Report (by Rob Smith)

Hong Kong China and Türkiye played the most exciting match of the tournament so far, the height and power of the male players of Türkiye against a Hong Kong China team built around fast and agile female players. For Türkiye, seven goals by Inanc Demirel, including a buzzer beater to end the third quarter, looked to have sealed the deal for his team, building a two goal lead with four minutes to play, though Hong Kong grabbed back the lead via Ka Ho Chow with less than a minute remaining, only for Türkiye to tie it up again through Oral Arslan sneaking in the back door in the final seven seconds to force golden goal. In the fourth attack of the extra period, Tim Tim Yau made the breakthrough with a run in to finally crush Turkish hopes, and send Hong Kong into ecstasy.

Belgium won by 43-9, with top scorer Lauren Denis accounting for seven.
