IKF Korfball Champions League Final schedule now available
The IKF Korfball Champions League Final contenders have discovered their opponents following Thursday’s draw.
The stage is set for an epic showdown in Papendrecht as the IKF Korfball Champions League Final draw unveiled the thrilling match schedule for the final taking place between 7th-10th February 2024.
Europe’s finest korfball clubs will battle it out for continental glory, hosted by the Royal Dutch Korfball Association (KNKV) and Papendrecht Korfbal Club (PKC).
The draw pitted six teams against each other in two groups:
Group A: PKC/Vertom (Netherlands), TuS Schildgen (Germany), CC Oeiras (Portugal)*
Group B: Boeckenberg (Belgium), SG Pegasus (Germany), NC Benfica (Portugal)
(*) 16/1/2024 Update – The IKF Korfball Champions League Final will have five participants instead of the original six due to the late withdrawal of CC Oeiras. All participating teams will play now a round-robin over 4 days to decide the winner of this year’s Korfball Champions League.

Each group promises nail-biting round-robin matches as the teams fight for a coveted top-two spot and a place in the semi-finals. PKC/Vertom, reigning Dutch champions, face stiff competition from Germany’s powerhouse TuS Schidgen and Portugal’s rising stars CC Oeiras, while Belgian champions Boeckenberg will need to navigate a gauntlet of six-time consecutive champions SG Pegasus and Portugal’s most decorated club, NC Benfica.
Mark your calendars
Wednesday 7th February: The group stage matches kick off with two matches in the evening. The opening match is between Tus Schidgen – CC Oeiras, followed by SG Pegasus – NC Benfica.
Thursday 8th February: More group stage action with the battle for qualification heating up. We have four matches on day 2; Boeckenberg – SG Pegasus, PKC/Vertom – Tus Schidgen, NC Benfica – Boeckenberg and CC Oeiras – PKC/Vertom.
Friday 9th February: Semi-finals will witness the best of the best in a tense fight for the final.
Saturday 10th February: The grand finale! Witness the crowning of the IKF Korfball Champions League champions with the final starting at 4pm.
