IKF Europa Cup 2017

From Thursday 12 January till Saturday 14 January 2017 the 51st IKF Europa Cup final round korfball event is played in The Netherlands with 10 national champion club teams from Europe.
After the first round event in Cardiff, Wales 24 and 25 September 2016 the last four participants are known. So all competitors are known.
The Royal Dutch Korfball Federation (KNKV) is the 2017 organiser. The KNKV agreed with the Dutch Champion in 2016 - TOP/Quoratio - re. the organization in Sassenheim.
Which team wins the IKF Europa Cup in 2017?
We added the pools and the match schedule of the IKF Europa Cup 2017 15 November 2016.
Unfortunately we had to change the match schedule 28 December 2016 due to the very late withdrawal of the Polish champion, UKK WUM Warszawa.

IKF Europa Cup 2017 Tournament Rules
- Thursday 12 and Friday 13 January 2 * 17 minutes Real Playing Time (RPT)
- Saturday 14 January 2 * 25 minutes RPT
- Half time: Thursday and Friday 4 minutes / Saturday 10 minutes.
- Time out: Thursday and Friday: Each team will be allowed one (1) time out / Saturday: Each team will be allowed two (2) time outs. Time outs can be requested at any time when play is stopped
- Substitutions: Thursday and Friday: Each team will be allowed a maximum of 6 (reversible) substitutions / Saturday Each team 8 reversible substitutions
- Thursday and Friday: If scores are level after the end of normal time “Golden Goal” period of extra time shall be played with a maximum length of 5 minutes RPT.
- Saturday: If scores are level after the end of normal time a “Golden Goal” period of extra time shall be played with a maximum length of 10 minutes RPT.
- If there is no winner after the “Golden Goal” period, then the match shall be determined by penalties; Thursday and Friday penalties are taken in pairs and immediate sudden death. Saturday with all eight players from the end of the “Golden Goal” period taking penalties.
