Agenda Highlights
The agenda for the General Meeting covers several important topics, including:
Opening and Announcements.
Annual Reports & Financials: Review and approval of the Annual and Financial Reports for the years 2023 and 2024, including the associated reports of the Auditing Committee.
Budgets & Subscriptions: Discussions on budgets and subscriptions for 2026 and 2027.
Membership: The IKF Council may propose the expulsion or promotion of Members, as well as review new applications.
Elections: There will be elections for members of the Executive Committee and the Auditing Committee. Mr. Björn Elewaut and Ms. Joana Faria have completed their elected terms and have indicated they are available for a further term on the Executive Committee.
Strategic Approvals: A proposal will be made to postpone the approval of the Annual Reports for 2025 and 2026 to the 2027 General Meeting, in line with Dutch legislation to allow for a biennial meeting schedule.
Future Planning: The meeting will also cover the international events calendar and the location and date of the next General Meeting. The 2027 General Meeting will be held in the Netherlands in conjunction with the IKF World Korfball Championship.
