U17 Korfball World Cup 2017

Again the 19th U17 Korfball World Cup (U17 KWC) will take place in 2017 in Schijndel, The Netherlands in Sportcenter Dioscuren.
This event will have another period of the year in the korfball agenda; Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June 2017.
The first match will start Saturday 24 June 0900 AM (Amsterdam time).

The pools are composed by drawing lots.
POOL A: The Netherlands, Catalonia, Chinese Taipei, Germany and Hungary
POOL B: Belgium, England, Czech Republic, Portugal and (out of competition) KNKV RTC South.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
Saturday 24 June 2017:
To decide the top four who will play the semi-finals and final Sunday, the teams will play for rankings in round robin format within their own group.
Sunday 25 June 2017:
Places 1-4
The numbers 1 and 2 of POOLS A and B will play cross matches to decide which teams will play for places 1 and 2 and for places 3 and 4
Places 5-10.
All other teams will play for rankings in round robin format in two new groups. After that they will play in cross matches for places 5-10.
POOL A: The Netherlands, Catalonia, Chinese Taipei, Germany and Hungary
POOL B: Belgium, England, Czech Republic, Portugal and (out of competition) KNKV RTC South.
