17/8/2025 – China opened strong with two cut-in goals for a 2-0 lead. They added two penalties to extend the gap 4-0 with just over 3 minutes to play. Both sides exchanged 2-pointers, 6-2, before more goals closed the first quarter at 8-3.

In the second quarter, drizzle slowed the pace with no goals for 2 minutes. Australia broke through with a medium shot 8-4, but China replied immediately 9-4 to maintain a 5-point cushion with 3 minutes left. A 2-pointer pushed China further ahead 11-4, and as the rain grew heavier, they sealed a 13-6 victory.
