Poland scored early in the second quarter 5-6, but Netherlands responded with a penalty and a near shot to extend 5-8 with 3 minutes left. Poland pushed hard to close the gap, but Netherlands found their rhythm with a long shot 5-10 and continued their scoring spree. Netherlands kept control until the end, sealing the victory 5-16.
