14/8/2026 – Belgium U21 booked their place in the gold-medal match of the IKF U21 World Korfball Championship 2026 with a commanding 22–7 victory over New Zealand U21 in the semi-final at the N9 Arena in Nilai, Malaysia.

Belgium controlled the contest from the outset, combining sharp attacking movement with disciplined defensive work. Their ability to create space around the korf and convert their opportunities allowed them to build a substantial advantage, while New Zealand found it difficult to generate consistent scoring chances.

The Belgian pressure remained relentless as the match progressed. New Zealand continued to battle and eventually found the basket, but Belgium’s attacking efficiency and defensive organisation kept the gap firmly in their favour.

By the final whistle, Belgium had secured a 15-goal victory, completing another impressive performance in a tournament in which they have remained unbeaten. The result also confirms their place in the U21 World Championship final, where they will compete for the gold medal.
