14/8/2026 – Catalonia U21 produced an impressive attacking display to defeat England U21 23–10 at the IKF U21 World Korfball Championship 2026 in Nilai, Malaysia. The result gives Catalonia a valuable boost as the second group phase reaches its decisive stages.

Catalonia took control of the contest through a combination of patient build-up play, sharp movement around the korf and effective finishing. Their defensive pressure also made life difficult for England, limiting the English attack and preventing them from establishing sustained momentum.

England continued to compete and looked for opportunities to break through, but Catalonia maintained their intensity and gradually extended the gap. The Catalan side’s ability to keep creating scoring opportunities from different positions proved decisive as the match progressed.
