NILAI, Malaysia – 10 August 2026 – The Netherlands are turning dominance into a habit at the IKF U21 World Korfball Championship 2026.

The Dutch produced another emphatic performance in Group A, defeating India 44–6 to maintain their perfect record and send another clear warning to the rest of the field.

There was little respite for India as the Netherlands controlled the match with relentless intensity. The Dutch attack kept creating scoring opportunities from different positions, while their defensive pressure repeatedly forced India away from the high-quality chances needed to stay in the contest.

The six goals conceded tell only part of the story. The Netherlands’ real strength was their ability to maintain the same level of concentration and aggression throughout the match, refusing to let India build any sustained momentum.

For India, the task was always going to be immense against a Netherlands side that had already demonstrated its attacking power earlier in the tournament. Nevertheless, the Indian players continued to battle until the final whistle, gaining valuable experience against the highest level of U21 korfball.

For the Netherlands, however, the numbers are becoming striking. Three matches, three wins, 128 goals scored and only 20 conceded. Their three victories have all come by margins of at least 32 goals.

The Dutch have therefore done more than collect another three points: they have established a formidable standard of performance.
