12/8/2026 – Türkiye U21 produced another commanding performance at the IKF U21 World Korfball Championship 2026, defeating India U21 31–10 in Nilai, Malaysia.

Türkiye established control early and maintained a clear advantage throughout the match. Their attacking organisation and efficient ball circulation repeatedly created high-quality shooting opportunities, while their defensive pressure made it difficult for India to build sustained attacking possessions.

India showed determination and continued to compete despite the growing deficit, but Türkiye’s greater consistency around the korf and ability to convert chances kept the scoreboard moving decisively in their favour. By the final quarter, Türkiye had built an advantage that left India with a difficult task to close the gap.

The 31–10 result gives Türkiye another emphatic victory in the group phase, following their 30–7 success against Australia earlier in the tournament.

The IKF U21 World Korfball Championship 2026 is being held in Nilai from 8 to 16 August, bringing together 16 of the world’s leading U21 national teams.
