IKF Pan-American Korfball Championship (IKF PAKC) 2018

The IKF Pan-American Korfball Championship 2018 (IKF PAKC 2018) will be played in Cali, Colombia, from 2 to 4 March 2018. The venue that will host this tournament is the Coliseo Mundialista, Escuela Nacional del Deporte.
Participating countries will be playing and competing to be the new American korfball champion. Moreover, this IKF Pan-American Korfball Championship 2018 shall be used as a qualification tournament for the IKF World Korfball Championship 2019 whereby the numbers 1 and 2 will qualify for the IKF World Korfball Championship 2019 to be played in Durban, South Africa.
PARTICIPANTS: Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Suriname and Colombia.

TOURNAMENT RULES (IKF Pan-American Korfball Championship 2018)
- Length of each half: 2 * 17 minutes Real Playing Time (RPT).
- Length of half time: 8 minutes.
- Number of time outs allowed: 1 per team.
- Substitutions: Each team will be allowed a maximum of 6 (reversible) substitutions.
- If scores are level after the end of normal time, the “Golden Goal” period of extra time shall be played with a maximum length of 5 minutes RPT.
- If there is no winner after the “Golden Goal” period, then the match shall be determined by penalties, taken in pairs and immediate sudden death.
