IKF Europa Shield 2018

Again the IKF Europa Shield 2018 will take place in Multiusos de Odivelas, Av. Miguel Torga, 2675 Odivelas, Portugal. Teams should fly to Lisbon. The 2018 tournament is scheduled in the fourth weekend of January, 2 weeks after the IKF ECup 2018 final round. The dates are 26, 27 and 28 January 2018.
The first match will start Friday 26 January 2018, 1700 PM (Lisbon time zone): KV Adler Rauxel (GER) - Marmara University Sport Club (TUR)
The IKF Europa Shield is an eight club team event for European teams. In 2017 Bec Korfball Club from England became the champion.

IKF Europa Shield 2018 Event Rules:
- Preparation time before each match: 10 minutes
- Match time: 2 * 17 minutes Real Playing Time (RPT)
- Time Out per team: 1
- Substitutions per team: 6 (reversible) subs
- Half Time: 4 minutes
- Golden Goal: maximum 5 minutes RPT
- Penalties: sudden death
