Today in Delhi, IKF Asia President Dr Inglish Huang (TPE) discussed recognition of his organization by the Olympic Council of Asia with Raja Randhir Singh, IOC Member and Secretary General of the Olympic Council of Asia. Dr Huang was accompanied by Dr Jan C. Fransoo, President of the International Korfball Federation, who strongly supports the application, and Dr Pramod Sharma, Secretary General of the Korfball Federation of India. Raja Randhir Singh pledged his full support for the application and provided further advise on the procedure. IKF Asia and IKF have also submitted the files to the President of the Olympic Council of Asia, Sheikh Al-Sabah, and the Chairman of the OCA Sport Committee, Mr Jilong Zhang. The Olympic Council of Asia finds a suitable place for all sports. It is the ambition of IKF Asia to be included in the program of the Asian Indoor Games. These games will be held in 2013 in Incheon (KOR) and in 2017 in Doha (Qatar).
