VKC Kolin victors in Czech korfbal extra league final.

The champion of the Czech Republic Korfball League for this year is VKC Kolin with this victory being the club’s ninth title in their history. VKC Kolin won the final defeating KCC Sokol České Budejovice , who was last year‘s champion with a final score of 20:17.

The scores were close throughout the entire game with the victors only breaking away in the closing minutes of an exciting match. The half time result was 10:9 in favour of Kolin and 8 minutes before the end of the match the scores were equal 17:17. However 2 late goals from Radka Cermakova enabled VKC Kolin to break away and take the championship title for 2013.

KC Brno clinched 3rd place by beating MS Znojmo 17:12.
