Year of the Youth promotion in Bulgaria

Bulgarian korfball leaders have been working to promote korfball in their country for over three years. They have promoted a special project called ‘Guarantee for the Future’. Thanks to extensive work in all areas of the country, they have two new clubs in Haskovo and Panagurishte. They are now waiting for their legal registration.

The next step on ‘2013 – Year of the Korfball Youth’ is the recruitment and training of children, young people and teachers in the four largest cities in Bulgaria: Burgas, Varna, Blagoevgrad and Haskovo. Bulgaria is working with municipalities and other regional centres to promote the sport in schools. As mentioned above, they have been working for youth korfball development for three years and will continue into 2014.
