The IKF General Meeting 2019 will take place on Friday, 9 August 2019, in Durban, South Africa.

The opening address by the IKF President, Dr Jan Fransoo, will be at 09:00 AM (GMT + 2) and the venue will be opened for registration as of 08:30 AM.

This is an important year.

IKF is democratic and federative.

The General Meeting is the supreme authority of IKF and comprises all National Members of IKF, each receiving voting rights. Every four years the term of office of the President comes to end and an elective General Meeting takes place, while two years after each elective General Meeting, a mid-term General Meeting is held.

The General Meeting of IKF also elects the Members of the IKF Council and Executive Committee, which in turn appoints the members of the different IKF Committees.
