The IKF Europa Shield is well known because of its close games and surprises, and today’s games were the perfect demonstration of all this. Looking at the results, everybody can see why players and spectators love so much this tournament. Everybody can beat its rival!

The IKF Europa Shield is an annual club team event for European teams. This edition is taking place in Multiusos de Odivelas, Portugal (Av. Miguel Torga, 2675 Odivelas), from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 January 2017. In 2016, Korfbal Club Barcelona (Catalonia) became the champion, after beating in the final the previous 2015 IKF EShield winner: Bec Korfball Club from England.
